In Isaiah 6:1–5, Isaiah is given a breathtaking vision of the Lord seated on His throne, surrounded by heavenly beings declaring, “Holy, holy, holy.” In the presence of God’s holiness, Isaiah is immediately confronted with his own sinfulness and unworthiness.

This passage reminds us that when we truly see God for who He is, we gain a proper perspective of who we are. God’s holiness reveals our need for His grace and draws us to humility, repentance, and worship.
